ABOUT MISSION EQUIPMENT

Mission Equipment is a growing specialty equipment rental company headquartered in Palm Harbor, Florida, with operations across Florida, Georgia, and Texas. We serve contractors, developers, municipalities, and industrial customers.

Our fleet includes specialized under bridge inspection vehicles, aerial lifts, telehandlers, specialty trailer-mounted units, and a general rental fleet. We are a young, fast-growing company, and every person on the team has a direct hand in where we go next.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive revenue growth within an assigned territory through new customer acquisition, account development, and relationship management. This is a field-based role focused on building lasting partnerships with construction and industrial customers.

You will start with an existing book of business to learn on and expand. From there, you are expected to grow the territory with new customers and meet individual quotas that support company growth. You will own the full sales cycle: inbound/outbound follow-up, discovery calls, pipeline generation, and closing new business.

  • Run discovery calls to understand project scope, timelines, equipment needs, and decision makers
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Prepare quotes, present solutions, negotiate terms, and close new rental business

Account management and growth

  • Take ownership of an assigned book of existing accounts and grow revenue within them
  • Build long-term relationships with contractors, developers, municipal customers, superintendents, and procurement teams
  • Identify upcoming projects and cross-sell across our specialty and general rental fleet
  • Serve as the customer's main point of contact, coordinating with dispatch and operations to ensure on-time delivery and service

CRM and reporting

  • Log all activity, contacts, opportunities, and follow-ups in the CRM daily
  • Keep pipeline stages, forecasts, and deal values accurate and current
  • Prepare for regular pipeline and performance reviews with leadership

Market awareness

  • Track local construction and industrial activity, bid lists, and competitor presence in your territory
  • Share customer feedback and market insight with leadership
